Implementation of Integrated Management System
It is recognized that organizations, which are already implementing a quality management system, will be able to extend their systems to include an environmental and/ or OH&S Management SystemTRL Krosaki had adopted Quality Management System (QMS) (Current Standard ISO 9001:2008) during the year 1994-95. The revised standard ISO 9001:2008 provides coordinated linkages with ISO 14001:2004 (EMS). Additionally, the current structure of OHSAS 18001:2007 has considerable similarity with ISO 14001:2004 standard. Therefore, the integrated management of the multidisciplinary systems is not considered as separate entities, and it is intertwined as a single documented system incorporating the practices and procedures of each system for implementation, assessment and certification to the respective standards.
