- Formulated an environmental policy for the company
- Existence of a dedicated Environment protection cell with an state of art Environment Lab.
- Regular monitoring of air and water quality
- Installation of various Air pollution control system, such as, fabric Filters.
- Training classes for employees to create awareness on pollution hazards and safety measures.
- Annual mass plantation drives resulting in green belt around township.
- Recipient of Golden Peacock Environment Management Award-2002.
Health
- A well equipped hospital named as Jehangir Ghandy Hospital.
- Annual health check up programmes for all employees.
- Training classes on health and stress management and fitness regimen
Safety
Community Development
- Infrastructure development of villages through construction of roads, village ponds, Community centers , school buildings.
- Employment generation schemes like pisiculture, horticulture cultivation, sewing class are being promoted for creating self-employment.
- Besides this EDP (Entrepreneur Development Programmes) for imparting
entrepreneurial skills and inputs amongst the villagers.
- During the last 10 years over 500 families in the nearby villages have been benefited from the Company's employment generation schemes.
- Health Care facilities, family planning operations, health check up camps, eye operation camps, and pharmacists render free treatments to the villagers in this programme.
